
Two American astronauts, Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Sunita Williams, may need to stay on the ISS until next year due to technical issues with the Boeing Starliner during its approach.
Originally on an eight-day mission, they could now spend Christmas and New Year in space.
NASA is exploring options, including integrating them into a mission launching in September, with a potential return in February 2025.
