Gavin Adcock Speaks on getting arrested in TN

The country singer took to social media this week to share a personal story—and a brand new single that came out of it. According to Adcock, it all started with the car of his dreams: a 1973 Dodge Challenger.

“I bought my dream car… a 1973 Dodge Challenger,” he wrote. “Over the past few months, I’ve been putting money into it, getting it running as good as new, and decided I wanted to take it for a joy ride. The car ran great.”

That joy ride, however, ended with flashing lights and handcuffs. Adcock was pulled over in Wilson County, Tennessee, and arrested for reckless driving after hitting 103 mph.

“I got pulled over and arrested for reckless driving going 103 in Wilson County, TN.”

But instead of shying away from the moment, he’s turning it into music. Adcock announced that he’s dropping a new single this Friday called “Morning Bail”—a song he actually wrote a few months ago, but now feels like the perfect time to release.

“I figured there’s no better time than now,” he said.

The song is expected to carry the same raw honesty and storytelling fans have come to love from Adcock—this time, with a little more of that lived-it-myself energy.

No word yet on the fate of the Dodge Challenger, but if there’s one thing Galvin Adcock knows how to do, it’s take life’s rougher edges and turn them into something worth listening to.

“Morning Bail” drops this Friday on all streaming platforms.
